Each year the number of attendees at the RACGP’s annual conference active learning module (ALM) day continues to grow. ALM day is one of the most exciting on the program and one GPs look forward to attending.

Do you have an ALM designed for GPs? As the largest event for GPs in Australia, GP19 provides you with the perfect opportunity to deliver your ALM to your target audience and be a part of knowledge sharing with Australia’s frontline defenders of health.

Requirements of an ALM

  • Should be able to accept a minimum of 48 delegates
  • Should be an ALM that has been run before with a proven record of accomplishment of attendance of more than 48 people and positive evaluation ratings
  • ALM must be highly interactive with delegate participation a priority. Please refer to the QI&CPD handbook for specific guidelines (page 31)

GP19 will cover the below expenses:

  • Venue hire
  • Standard AV equipment (Projector, Screen, Lectern and Microphone and presentation computer)
  • Catering (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea)
  • ALM promotion
  • Management of the registration process

The provider will be required to cover expenses not listed above, including but not limited to:

  • Presenter accommodation and flights
  • Associated travel expenses
  • Workshop materials (ie workbooks)
  • Presenter and facilitator fees
  • ALM administration and support expenses (ie sending out and following up pre and post-workshop activities, and compilation of evaluations)
  • QI&CPD product and service fees
