Practical solutions: Getting culturally responsive primary healthcare
Support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients with achieving positive health outcomes. Built around engagement and the elements of a quality health assessment (item 715 health check) and follow up. This session will provide practical advice and involves patient perspective and participation.

Palliative care: A cultural approach
This interactive 90-minute session will focus on culture-centred palliative care. Presenters will draw on the NT Aboriginal Palliative Care Model to discuss the links between an Aboriginal patient, the patient's family and the palliative care service providers.
Participants with gain some practical skills and knowledge in using the companion guide to the palliative care model and insight into the Groote Eylandt community approach to care planning.
